After carefully evaluating the salability of our condo, one of her team, Marsha, staged several items, including a telescope for whale watching from our lanai, beautiful floral arrangements, and others to strategically enhance its beauty. Another one, Jesse, did a world-class video that not only gave the viewer a room-by-room layout of the condo but, most importantly, a perspective of how our condo and surroundings fit in so well with the lifestyle inherent in Maui. And Amy provided a comprehensive word picture of the many features of our condo and how the purchaser can ultimately benefit from these. Amy did a comprehensive review of comparable sales within our area and came up with a realistic listing price that would avoid the tiresome haggling process. "We had been looking for a condo on the beach and decided upon Honua Kai Resort and Spa in Kaanapali. The onsite agent is Amy Lam. I had been a REALTOR for many years on the mainland, and my expectations were very high. We found ourselves in Maui and called Amy to meet her and tour the available listings. She took us around and showed us the condos, views, pluses, and minuses, discussed the rental histories as well as providing us with a detailed breakdown of gross and net costs to review. After discussing it with our CPA, we decided to place an offer. Amy was experienced with the sales prices at Honua Kai and gave us a suggested purchase price. Our offer was accepted! Yes, even as prices are sky high everywhere, she negotiated a fabulous deal for us! We had to get back home to Seattle and as you can imagine, it was stressful not being onsite throughout the closing process. Amy stepped up and became our eyes and ears. She scheduled our inspection, coordinated repairs, made sure items were fixed, provided me a schedule of items to expect and the due dates as our loan progressed, took videos for us, and completed our final walk thru. The list goes on and on, but literally, everything we needed was taken care of without hesitation. We closed on April 21, 2021. And Amy is still helping us gather keys, coordinating the purchase and delivery of our new stove, replacing a broken tile, etc. We couldn’t possibly be more pleased than we are with her services.
